The Project Settings dialog provides access to the individual properties of the project, files, and folders in your project. Within the project settings you can set properties on each item or as a group. To view the settings for a project, from the Project menu, select Settings.
The settings dialog is divided into two parts. A structured view of your project appears on the left and the properties for the selected item on the right. Depending upon the selection, the tabs to the right will change.

To quickly view the specific settings for a project file or folder, right click on the item in the project workspace tree view and select Properties from the popup menu. |
A project can consist of three types of components; the project itself, project folders, and files. Each component has its own selection of properties and in some cases these are shared between items of different types.
